Barbara Sweetser was born in Hazel Grove in 1945. She was only just getting to know her two grandchildren and was sadly taken before the birth of three more. She is missed and thought of every day by all of her family.

John F Alexander AMPA LBIPP was born on February 25, 1926 in Streatham, London and died peacefully in his sleep in Southend Hospital (as a result of prostate cancer) Sunday April 11, 2010. He will be much missed by his wife Rowena, son Bruce, daughter Lindsay and granddaughter Lizzie.
Dr. Thompil Joseph Alexander was born on May 10, 1940. He passed away on May 19th, 2011 at the age of 71 after a long battle with cancer. Our dearest Charlene left us in May 2024 after a prolonged illness of breast cancer. Since the news of her passing, hundreds of friends and colleagues have asked how they could share with Charlene’s family their memories of her and how they could show their support to her mum, dad and loved ones.

Ella
Ella’s life was our future, she was so wanted and so loved before we even met her. She didn’t just live for 3 days, she was with us for seven months. We use to look at her at the hospital scans moving around and waiving at us. We both use to feel Carolyn’s tummy and feel Ella moving around and kicking us.
Ben was amongst the first children to be cared for at Hope House, Oswestry when it first opened. We moved to Scotland in 2001 but Hope House always has a special place in our hearts.
Ben filled our life with love and laughter, he had an amazing sense of humour and everyone who had contact with him fell in love with him.
