We've set up this donation page in memory of our lovely Mum, Kitty Barrett. She donated to Christian Aid for many years, wanting to support their work. We're happy to help her support them some more.
Dad cared for people. He loved his family and friends but had time for everyone he met. Dad had the common touch and could get on with anyone. Through his charity work and his job he cared especially for people with learning disabilities and the poor.Dad loved his vegetable garden. He had a gift for making things grow.
Cicely (1926 - 2023) was a woman of great faith and compassion. After her war service as a young nurse in Ely, Cicely went on to train as a teacher in Durham.  She taught and inspired generations of primary school children in Market Harborough and Melton Mowbray.
Geoffrey Stokell was an amazing person, a one-of-a-kind gentleman who had a lasting impact on all those he met. He was interested in everyone and everything life had to offer with an ability to find a connection with people, whatever their culture or background. Our lives are all richer from having known him.

Janet died peacefully in her sleep at the Orchard Care Home, Tullibody on 18 May aged 82. For 59 years of those years she was married to Brian. She was also much loved mother of Richard and Katie, mother-in-law to Liz and grandma to Oliver, Abi and Melanie.  She will also be much missed by her many friends.
Phil & Christine lived for nearly 30 years in Africa, working to end the injustice of poverty. Now he is no longer with us a donation to Christian Aid is a way to continue his work to create a fairer & more equal world.Favourite Memories: Gift aid, church, lib dems, fairtrade, gift aid, stewarding, cruises, canals, pirates... did we say gift aid?
Valerie died on 1st November 2021, All Saints Day, peacefully at her wonderful Hallamshire Care Home in Sheffield.Thanks for taking the time to visit this page.  Please do leave a message and a memory of Valerie and look at the photos (top left).

Audrey's long suffering is over and now she is resting. After 60 years together Ken is bereft.  He had planned a very different event for this week for their Diamond Wedding Anniversary on the 12th November.Audrey is survived by husband, three sisters, three children, four grandchildren, a greatgrandson and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Dr Helen Everett died in London in September 2015 of cancer aged 46.  Her husband Rev. Henry Everett and her brother Dr. Ian Totterdell have cycled from Paddington to Paris in her memory and to raise money for Christian Aid Education, a cause very close to Helen and  her family.

Ten years have now passed since dad died from a brain tumour in May 2006.  As a family we've decided we would like to do something to mark this milestone anniversary.
My mum and dad were the most wonderful and kind parents who loved their family and always put them first. They enjoyed time with their grandsons. They loved Scotland and we're happy on their travels around their beautiful homeland.My mum and dad loved life and were active in the town of Linlithgow in church, in community groups and as residents.
My darling mother Catherine was the most giving and kind human being one could ever wish to meet. Her love of Christ saw her through trials and tribulations but her faith never flickered for a moment, solid and strong she remained. Her charity work and fund raising for Christian Aid was relentless as was all her other  charitable projects.
Audrey actively supported Christian Aid throughout her life.  She spent many years distributing and collecting envelopes as well as organising numerous fund-raising events.Her fund-raising continued to the end of her life.  Therefore Christian Aid is a very fitting cause to receive donations in her memory.Thank you for contibuting.
Much loved mother, grandmother (and step-grandmother), aunt and friend - she kept her acute interest and concern about the people and world around her, all her life. Irene supported Christian Aid and strongly believed that we all have the power to improve the lives of others - in gifts and in deeds.

Muriel was an active Christian and attended Ponteland United Reformed Church for many years. Here she collected for Christian Aid which was a charity close to her heart and her belief in helping others.  Muriel died peacefully at Hexham Hospital, after a long illness on November 14, 2022, Muriel, aged 86 years.
